Welcome to Dakota Toy Aussies
At Dakota Toy Aussies, we know bringing home a new puppy is a big moment. Whether you are looking for a Toy Australian Shepherd, a Mini Australian Shepherd, or an Auggie, our goal is to raise puppies that are healthy, well-socialized, and ready to become a loved part of your family.
As a family-run breeding program, we focus on daily care, safe living conditions, quality food, and plenty of attention from the very beginning. We believe those early experiences help puppies grow into confident, happy companions.
Why Families Love Aussies
Mini and Toy Australian Shepherds are known for being smart, affectionate, and full of personality. They are often a great fit for families who want a loyal companion that enjoys both playtime and cuddle time.
- They are eager to learn and respond well to training.
- They form strong bonds with their people.
- They have playful energy while still loving time at home.
- They bring a lot of charm and character to everyday life.
How We Raise Our Puppies
We believe quality breeding starts with quality care. Our puppies are raised in a hands-on environment where they receive attention, exercise, and regular interaction. That helps them get used to people, routines, and the sights and sounds of home life.
Healthy puppies start with thoughtful care, a clean environment, and plenty of love.
We are proud to provide a warm, family-oriented setting that supports each puppy’s development. For prospective owners, that means more confidence in the puppy you are welcoming home.
Preparing for Your New Puppy
Before your puppy arrives, it helps to have a few basics ready so the transition feels smooth for both you and your new companion.
- A cozy crate or sleeping area
- Food and water bowls
- High-quality puppy food
- A collar, leash, and ID tag
- Safe chew toys and comfort items
- A plan for your first vet visit
Patience is important during the first few days. A calm routine, gentle guidance, and lots of reassurance can help your puppy settle in and start building trust.
