Our History

Raising and Loving Dogs for 17 Years

Hi, my name's Jodi Groeneweg. Growing up in the countryside of western South Dakota, my life has always been centered around a deep love for animals. After graduating from South Dakota State University with a degree in horticulture, life took me to Iowa, where I married my husband, Travis. For years, our beautiful world revolved around raising our two young girls alongside our loyal black lab, Grover, who taught our kids just how special the bond with a dog truly is.

When our family later moved back to South Dakota and settled onto our new acreage, I rediscovered my lifelong passion for Australian Shepherds. That love naturally grew into a family-centered devotion to breeding as we added three boys to the family. Six years ago, our dog family grew even more. We always had a soft spot for the big personalities packed into smaller breeds, which eventually led us to welcome our first Corgis. We spent years raising Corgis in a home filled with immense love and unforgettable memories. However, as time went on, we faced some of the natural complications that come with breeding, which led us to reevaluate our hectic schedule. We decided to downsize our program. Today, we have just one beloved female Corgi, whom we intentionally crossbreed with our Mini Australian Shepherds to produce wonderful, active "Auggie" puppies.

Because our dogs are a part of our daily lives, we focus deeply on raising healthy, vibrant puppies and ensuring they are thoroughly socialized from day one. Surrounded by country air and plenty of love, our puppies are raised to be companions. Nothing brings us more joy than helping others find a new family member.
